Fr. Armond Madhavath OFM Cap

A Simple Franciscan Capuchin Friar

A Smiling Contemplative who loved Trinity passionately

Fr. Armand's life started early as 4.am everyday and then we find him with extended hands in perfect stillness deeply in a meditative position in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Again at the end of the day after all fatigues of the day he used to spend hours in prayer irrespective of times and seasons and healthy or sick. This might have been the basis of his sublime humility, ardent missionary spirit, and unconditional love to all. A rosary in his hand and a small shoulder bag on his shoulders was the normal appearance of Fr. Armond. Rosary was an inseparable part of his life.

However he also welcomed and participated joyfully in all forms of prayers with both young and old. In short he was a contemplative and a regular observer of the community hours of prayer and prayed well with any community whatsoever Because he lived in perfect fellowship with God in his heart calling Jesus his brother (chettai) and Holy Spirit his intimate Friend (aathma mithram).
